Wambui Mbesa is the new East Africa Subsidiary CEO for Relational FS, an IT solutions and services company headquartered in Athens, Greece, that designs and provides IT solutions to the financial services sector including banks, Saccos and MFIs. Other sectors include telcos, retail, and government.

She has an MBA in Strategic Management, a PGD in Computer Science and a B.Ed. in Business and Economics. She has over 20 years of experience as a technology industry executive and is an entrepreneur with a track record of award-winning performance and recognition as a visionary leader.

Wambui has co-founded and run a technology company that was recognized by Microsoft 5 times over the years for excellence and business growth within East & Southern Africa, being named twice into the Microsoft President’s Club which recognizes the top 5 percent of high performing partners world-wide as reflected in their business success and growth.

She serves as a board member in various institutions including listed companies and is a member of the Women on Boards Network, 30% Club, Women in Technology (WiTA) Kenya Chapter and the Kenya Institute of Directors.

She is passionate about giving back and giving forward and is actively involved in mentoring the next generation of leaders in general and IT in particular. She volunteers as a mentor in various places including with Women on Boards Network, Logos Christian Scholarship Fund, The Mastercard Foundation’s Global Give Back Circle, and has been a mentor with the Presidential Digital Talent Programme.
