Tshililo Farisani
Tshililo Farisani is a specialist in leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation projects, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Graduate School of Business and Leadership. His PhD focused on the sustainability of rural Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) projects in South African local government. Dr Farisani was awarded the title of Social Entrepreneur in 2013 for his ongoing contributions to social entrepreneurship projects in South Africa. Tshililo is the author of a Scopus-indexed book and continues to publish book chapters and journal articles with various global publishers. Dr Farisani has travelled and continues to travel the globe, presenting papers on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) projects. He has over 20 years of experience, having served as a former business owner and project manager on numerous projects. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Centre of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at the Central University of Technology. He also serves as a Judge at the Middle East and Africa Gender Mainstreaming Award. His research focuses on entrepreneurship and the sustainability of livelihood projects. Dr Farisani serves on various research and community engagement committees internationally.
