Tshepo Serokolo
Over the past decade, Tshepo has impacted over 10 000 entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, genders, and industries, from ideation to accelerated business models. As a former Head of Selection at Raizcorp, he played a pivotal role in co-authoring and enforcing the entrepreneur selection process. Leading a team of selection scouts, he was tasked with ensuring that the incubator continued to attract growth-oriented entrepreneurs who were prepared to participate and compete successfully in the market. Additionally, he served as a judge in business ideas competitions, evaluating concepts for their bankability. Tshepo sits on investor readiness and procurement readiness panels, empowering entrepreneurs by assisting them in constructing robust business cases. Beyond his work at Raizcorp, Tshepo is a co-founder of the Khenn Institute, a learner and youth leadership academy. The institute is dedicated to designing and delivering thought-provoking, accessible, and fun leadership and career development interventions. Furthermore, Tshepo’s commitment extends to preparing learners to overcome challenges encountered during their academic journey. The Khenn Institute has to date partnered with like-minded organisations and school to expose over 8000 learners to platforms that drive personal and academic decision-making, thereby increasing their eligibility for university, FET entrances, scholarships, learnerships, and internships. Through these programs, Tshepo contributes to retaining more learners in school, fostering a brighter future for young individuals, regardless of their backgrounds or origins. Lastly, Tshepo authored two books: “Mindset of an A Student” for high school learners and “Mindset and Attitude”, a guide for interns and new job entrants on adopting the right mindset to maximize value from internship programs while making meaningful contributions in their work environments.
