Helene is an energetic senior executive with 30+ year of international positions (at DIAGEO, Heineken and Unilever) in General Management, Marketing and Commercial. She brings 12 years of work experience in Africa/Middle East, 10 years in Caribbean/Central America and further in USA and larger Europe. Living experience in 8 countries. Fluent in English and Spanish.
After 21 years with Heineken in various markets across the globe, Helene joined DIAGEO in 2015 where she was appointed as Managing Director of Serengeti Breweries in Tanzania. She led a significant turnaround in business performance, ultimately resulting in double digit growth of the company and taking the Serengeti brand to become market leader in a highly competitive environment.

Her most recent position at Diageo was as Managing Director of Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc. She successfully steered the business through the unprecedented 2022/2023 economic crisis, redefining strategy and structure, ending the fiscal year with the best performance ever in the 63 year history of Guinness Ghana.

Helene has served both as non executive and executive Director in a diversity of Boards.

She is passionate about people and team building, inspiring them to think out of the box. She is a strong advocate of diversity & inclusion and supports making diversity targets part of the annual business targets.
