A Ph.D. holder in Entrepreneurship, Dr Edoo Sirkissoon’s research delves into Corporate Entrepreneurship within Financial Services, reflecting her commitment to fostering innovation in a rapidly evolving business environment. Her academic achievements underscore her passion for entrepreneurship and her dedication to pioneering new ideas that reshape industry standards. She served on various working committees at the Financial Planning Standards Board (FFPSB) on global financial planning standards.

With over three decades of corporate experience, Dr Edoo Sirkissoon has collaborated with professionals at every level and shared her expertise with business owners, offering invaluable insights and practical solutions. Her deep reservoir of knowledge and leadership acumen have made her a trusted mentor and advisor across the industry.

She has served as Director at the Financial Planning Institute of SA, The Southern African Society for Co-operative Education, and Milpark Business School as an Advisor.
Currently she works as business consultant and coach with executives’ teams and business owners, helping them navigate the challenges in their environments.

Outside of her professional endeavours, Nasrat enjoys a well-rounded personal life. She is passionate about yoga, long walks, and spending quality time with her husband, Anand, her son, Shahin, and her close-knit circle of friends.
