Mrs. Patricia Dovi Sampson is a seasoned and an astute Civil Servant. She is a public sector administrator. She has served and worked with the Ghana Civil Service for over two decades.

She has over the years worked in the functional Directorates of various ministries and as adopted strong commitment to the values of professionalism, integrity, selflessness, impartiality, neutrality, transparency and objectivity. She has developed the skill and expertise in building partnerships with key stakeholders for productive engagements. She has cultivated deliberate internal and external networking relationships. She has acquired enormous experience spanning strategic planning, public financial management as well as institutional sustainability.

Patricia is the current President of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana, Ladies Club (CLOGSAGLAC). The Club is the female arm of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association.

She is a licentiate member of the Chartered Institute of Administrator and Management Consultants (CIAMC); member of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana; the International Secretary of the International Scouts and Guides Fellowship of Ghana.
Patricia had the unique opportunity to serve as a Board member of the Ghana Post Company Limited as well as the Ghana Meteorological Agency.

Patricia Dovi Sampson has also received several reputable recognitions and awards for meritorious service. The awards include the “Nathan Annag Quao for Leadership, Appreciation of Dedication and Commitment to Ghana Civil Service”. Above all these awards is the recognition for Excellent Performance as a Director received from the Office of the Head of Civil Service. This award she received twice.

Patricia holds a Master of Arts Degree in Sociology from the Sofia University, Bulgaria; Post-Graduate Diploma in Urban Management and Human Resource Development from the Institute of Housing and Urban Development Studies, Rotterdam, Netherlands; Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Ghana; Executive Leadership Certificate in Monitoring & Evaluation for Private and Public Sector from the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana; Capacity Building Certificate in Creating and Administering Asset Register from the University of Ghana Business School; Certificate in Managing People Through Change: Attitudes and Behaviour from RIPA International, London; Certificate in Women in Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Ghana; Certificate in Policy Planning Analysis Development from the Centre for Management Research & Professional Studies, University of Ghana Business School, Accra, Ghana.

She has also broadened her horizon through her participation in several local and international seminars, workshops and conferences. Notable among them are the 19th ITU Plenipotentiary conference, held in Busan, Republic of Korea; ITU Telecom World Conference, Bangkok, Thailand; International Conference on Religion, Media and Health in West Africa; 3rd African Regional Conference on the Early Childhood Development help in Accra, Ghana; 18th INTERPOL African Regional Conference, held in Accra, Ghana as well as National Policy Summit on the Economy of the Republic of Ghana.

Patricia loves to facilitate, coach and offer presentations. Patricia in her free time likes to teach Girls in the use of ICT tools and techniques. Where possible Patricia loves to assist the poor, the vulnerable and excluded. This she does through encouragement, commendation, counselling and prayers.
