Ntombi Mhangwani
Ntombi Mhangwani is the Experience Architect for Accenture Interactive and Women’s Forum Lead for Accenture in Africa. She joined Accenture in 2015, tasked to build strategic value and deliver personalised, unique marketing as well as communications experiences. In her current roles, she helps clients to deliver exponential and extraordinary digital experiences for their customers; as well as drives initiatives to attain Accenture’s vision to achieve a 50/50 gender balanced workforce by 2025.
Mhangwani is the Gender Mainstreaming Awards (GMAs) 2020 finalist for the Inclusive Leader accolade. In September 2019, she won the GMAs Positive Role Model for C-Suite award. She was also the keynote speaker at the TEDxLytteltonWomen 2019.
Prior to joining Accenture, Mhangwani held senior marketing and communications roles in various multinational companies such as Schneider Electric South Africa, Dimension Data and MTN – to mention a few, with a scope that covered the rest of Africa and the Middle East.
Mhangwani’s journalistic, marketing and communications experience spans a period of more than 22 years. She has a huge hunger for continued learning, and an ability to master and implement the new knowledge she gains.
She holds Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School and Honours Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Rhodes University. She is also studying towards her PHD in Management with a focus on technology and innovation from The Da Vinci Institute.
