Nathalie Ngatia
Nathalie is the Managing Director –Strategy and Partnerships at IDEO.Org. IDEO.Org is a social innovation design consultancy that that partners with organizations to solve for a range of social impact challenges in line with their sustainability and impact strategies.
As Managing Director for Nairobi, Natalie is responsible for developing the organization’s strategy in Sub Saharan Africa–building and maintaining partnerships as well as managing new project work pipeline for the studio.
Nathalie is a career multipotentialite, having had the opportunity to work across different sectors and geographies. Prior to joining IDEO.Org, Nathalie was the Head of strategic Partnerships and Alliances at Standard Chartered Bank (Kenya), where she led the organization in developing the partnerships strategy, shaping the partnership team and executing on alliance deals that contributed to the banks brand equity and revenue.
Before that Nathalie worked with American Express (AMEX), UK in the strategy function of the organizations service and call center operations. Whilst there she helped rollout AMEX UK’s first home-base call center service model in 2011; during a time when home working was a novelty. Nathalie also held the position of Corporate Relationship Manager at Stanbic Bank and has worked on consultancy projects for Manchester Radio (UK), PZ cussons (UK) and Samvo Gaming limited international business strategy in Poland and Germany.
Nathalie holds a Bsc.(Hons) International Business Administration from United States International University (USIU-Africa) and an MBA from The University of Manchester in the UK.
Nathalie sits on the University of Manchester MBA Advisory board and serves as a member of the Kenyatta National Hospital League of Friends Society board. She is also an active member of the Breakthrough African Women in Intentional and Impactful Leadership (B.A. WiiL) Global Network. For fun, she enjoys working out, meeting new people and serving as a thought leadership writer and speaker on matters of leadership, sustainability and partnerships.
