Fabia Ogunmekan is a Lawyer and Corporate Executive with 20 years’ post call experience working in the fields of law and development across Corporate Organizations and Non-profits in the healthcare, gender and entrepreneurship space.

After a short stint in independent consulting she joined Women in Successful Careers (WISCAR) a not for profit organization focused on capacity development for professional women in March 2018, where she currently serves as Executive Director. In her role at WISCAR she is responsible for strategy execution, programme development and oversight, brokering partnerships, fundraising and stakeholder management. She also sits on the Boards of Montgomery Security Vaults Ltd and The Foundation for Cancer Care.

Since 2017, she has been a resource person and facilitator on the Lagos Business School’s Sustainability Centre’s Nonprofit Leadership and Management Programme. She is a 2018 Rise Up Leader and is passionate about the pursuit of development in Africa and the role of women in enabling that happen.
